The Oberg Mountain trail is beautiful year round, but it's especially gorgeous in the fall, when the surrounding forest is aglow with shades of gold, orange and red. There is no shortage of spectacular views on this 2.3-mile loop, including 360s of the Lake Superior North Shore, surrouding forest, and Oberg Lake. Generally considered a moderately challenging hike, allow 1-1/2 hours to complete.
