“I found my new favorite place in Grand Marais after my recent stay. The front desk (Sean) was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel and included local choices, i.e. wild rice and cranberry bread, egg bakes, sausages, filtered water, various coffees, fruit, etc. The rooms face the lake, were updated, had wifi, and it was easy to walk around town for meals, groceries, etc. The housekeeping could have been a bit more robust…minimalist but not unpleasant.
